The English simple past (Simple Past)

It is a tense used to express actions that occurred in the past.
Two types of past simple: regular or irregular. To form the past tense of regular verbs we need to add the suffix 'ed' to the infinitive. To form the past simple of irregular verbs do not follow any rules.



Ejemplo con el verbo 'to drink' (beber):
I drankYo bebí
You drankTú bebiste
He/She drankÉl/Ella bebió
We drankNosotros bebimos
You drankVosotros bebísteis
They drankEllos/Ellas bebieron
