The English simple past (Simple Past)

It is a tense used to express actions that occurred in the past.
Two types of past simple: regular or irregular. To form the past tense of regular verbs we need to add the suffix 'ed' to the infinitive. To form the past simple of irregular verbs do not follow any rules.

Ejemplo con el verbo 'to drink' (beber):
I drank	Yo bebí
You drank	Tú bebiste
He/She drank	Él/Ella bebió
We drank	Nosotros bebimos
You drank	Vosotros bebísteis
They drank	Ellos/Ellas bebieron
